Strategy
Formulating strategy. In theory it’s simple. The practical reality is somewhat different... especially when organisations are exposed to a rapidly changing environment full of uncertainty. We can help. Crocodilio uses a broad spectrum of analytic approaches/tools to develop robust strategies that permit organisations to compete in challenging commercial environments. Admittedly, some are fairly standard consulting fare – executed with all the care, diligence, and professionalism you’d expect. Other frameworks, unique to us, allow us to further draw on our broader commercial development experience to provide you with greater insight or address specific aspects of strategy (for example, looking at the ways in which innovation can form an integral part of your future strategy). Our approach is highly collaborative. We have a history of working closely with clients’ directorate teams, senior managers and other relevant stakeholders to develop both viable long term corporate strategies and short term strategic plans (for example, focussing on the penetration of specific markets or product categories). We’re not, however, a consultancy firm that simply points you in the direction of your “destination” with no regard for the small matter of how you’re going to achieve your goals... instead our strategic advice takes into account your current situation and any development activities needed to successfully execute your strategy with the minimum of internal disruption. Crocodilio also helps organisations with the revalidation and, where appropriate, refinement of existing strategic plans to address changing market conditions. After all, it’s reassuring to know that you’re on the right track... As you’d expect given our approach to other consultancy activities, to ensure you’re fully aware of all of the strategic options available, Crocodilio’s team undertakes rigorous analysis and research... but also considers the human side of commercial operations to deliver strategic approaches that work in the context, and constraints, of your organisation. |
